Sit by Lievore Altherr Molina has just arrived into our Auckland showroom.
Lightness, suppleness, synthesis, essence and comfort… these are some of the features that are combined in the multifaceted SIT seating programme, capable of providing convincing answers in any contemporary installation, with an elegant but neutral appeal. It is made using a metal tube and rod frame, in painted and matt chrome finishes with polypropylene seat and back available in a plethora of delicious colours and neturals.
The total functionality of this collection is in the abundance of options available – polypropylene and upholstered options, row and numbering systems, stacking and transport trolley and writing arm. Click here for more.
The Folk rug designed by Nani Marquina has taken over the Scandic Stavanger Forus Hotel in Norway and we love it. The hotel has combined the three colour ways in the collection to create a lush, whimsical and inviting interior. We can’t wait to go and visit!

As part of the Feria Habitat Valencia 2011, LZF hosted a series of special festive night picnics with clients and designers in a summer party atmosphere all illuminated of course by LZF Lamps and followed by an intimate view of a working factory exhibiting the manufacturing process of their craft. LZF Lamp’s Agatha light has won the WAN Interiors and Design Lighting Award 2011, one of the lighting industry’s most prestigious prizes on the grounds of being user-friendly, with sustainable materials, as well as invoking simplicity and beauty. The prize was given by World Architecture News, an information platform in the architecture sector.
Created for LZF by Spanish designer Luis Eslava, Agatha is a lamp whose design is created by layering a multitude of looped forms. Unimposing and lightweight, the lamp is very simple and original. As with all LZF creations, its forms are redolent of ones found in nature: flowers, trees, animals…
Congratulations to Lzf-Lamps!
Last Wednesday evening we launched the Lzf-Lamps NZ Roadshow – with jet-setting lighting extraordinaires Sandro, Marivi and their gorgeous daughter Jana straight from Valencia.
Lzf are on their 2011 world tour, which began at Euroluce in Milan in April and took them to ICFF in New York and the crazy Vegas in May.
The fantastical lighting installation created a whimsical showroom effect with a red glow that could be seen for a kilometre.
Thanks to everyone who joined us. It was a fantastic night.
The lighting will be left on display in the Auckland showroom for another four weeks so for those who missed out, do drop in and see us.
The delightfully talent Marivi Calvo of Lzf-Lamps created these gorgeous images especially for UFL. If you would like to receive a limited edition of the Lzf Red Collection postcards please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
